Florida Kosher Finder is a directory and guide to kosher food in South Florida, written by people who live here.
Who we are
We’re South Florida natives, and we’ve been here since 1988. We’ve watched the kosher scene grow from a handful of places into what it is today. We remember when Pinati became one of the first restaurants in South Florida to be openly, proudly kosher, and the first to put a dairy market right next to a grill restaurant. Now there are hundreds of kosher spots between Miami and Boca Raton.
That growth is great, but it makes finding the right place harder. Listings go stale, places close, hashgachas change, and visitors don’t know which neighborhood to stay in. We built Florida Kosher Finder to be the guide we’d want for our own family and the one we’d send to friends coming down for Yeshiva Week or Pesach.
What you’ll find here
- The directory: kosher restaurants, bakeries, markets, cafes and dessert spots across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties, with addresses, phone numbers and the certifying agency where we’ve matched one.
- Guides: practical, local guides to kosher pizza, Shabbos in Surfside, Pesach programs, Yeshiva Week and eating out with kids.
- City pages: every kosher spot in Miami Beach, Surfside, Aventura, Hollywood and Boca Raton.
How we put the information together
- We cross-check listings against the public directories of the local kashrus agencies, including the ORB and Kosher Miami.
- We use each business’s own website, menu and ordering pages for hours, prices and contact details, and we date our guides so you know how fresh they are.
- When a place closes, we take it down. When we hear about an opening or a change from the community, we check it and update the listing.
Important: kosher status
We are not a kashrus agency, and we don’t certify anything. We report which agency supervises a business based on that agency’s public directory and the business’s own information. Kosher status can change at any time. Always check the certificate posted at the business, or the agency’s own website, before you eat there. If you have a halachic question, ask your rav.
Accuracy
Everything on this site is accurate to the best of our knowledge when it’s published. Hours, prices, menus and ownership change often, sometimes without notice. Please call ahead before you make a special trip, and don’t rely on this site for anything where a mistake would really cost you.
Our editorial rules
- Kosher certification is never for sale. No one can pay to change how a business’s supervision is shown.
- Paid placements are always labeled. If a business pays to be featured, it will say so clearly.
- Some links may earn us a commission. If you book a hotel or buy something through certain links, we may get a small commission at no extra cost to you. It never decides what we recommend.
Spot a mistake? Tell us.
If a place closed, changed its hashgacha or moved, or if we got something wrong, email us at info@floridakosherfinder.com. We read everything, and corrections from the community are how this site stays accurate.
